Rivyt and Google user data
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Rivyt is operated by Naveiyra Holdings, Inc. dba Rivyt, a Delaware corporation (“Rivyt”).
Rivyt answers questions from a company’s own documents, with a citation for every answer. A company can connect Google Drive so that Rivyt can read documents kept there.
What Rivyt accesses
When a company connects Google Drive with Google’s own file picker, Rivyt reads only the files that a person picks in it, and the email address of the Google account used to connect, so that admins can see which account is connected. Rivyt cannot see, list or search anything else in that Google Drive. Connections made before Rivyt moved to the file picker are described in our privacy policy.
What Rivyt does with it
Rivyt reads the files, turns them into text and indexes them, only to answer questions from people in that company’s Rivyt workspace, with citations back to the file. It does not use Google user data for advertising, does not sell it, and does not let people read it except as our privacy policy describes.
Limited Use
Rivyt's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google API Services User Data Policy
No AI training
Rivyt does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
Who else receives it
To answer questions, Rivyt sends text from the files to the service providers named in our privacy policy (Anthropic, Voyage AI, Pinecone, Supabase, Railway, OpenAI and Sentry), each only for its job and only to provide its service to Rivyt. None of them may use it to train their models. The Google user data section of our privacy policy lists what each receives, and our subprocessors page says where each processes it.
Removing access and deleting data
A workspace admin can disconnect Google Drive in Rivyt, which revokes Rivyt’s access at Google, and can delete the synced files at the same time or later. Anyone can also remove Rivyt’s access from their Google Account’s security settings. How synced files and what Rivyt learned from them are deleted is in our privacy policy.
