About Rivyt

Rivyt was founded in 2026 by Aditya Narayanan, a first-time founder based in Atlanta.

The idea came from two observations that kept colliding. First: American manufacturing is staring down a retirement cliff. A generation of experienced operators, machinists, and maintenance techs are leaving the floor, and the knowledge they carry, what this specific press sounds like when it's about to fail, which grease to use on which bearing, why the overnight shift always has trouble with cell 7, is walking out the door with them.

Second: the documents that are supposed to preserve that knowledge, SOPs, equipment manuals, service bulletins, interview transcripts, are unusable in practice. They're scattered across SharePoint folders, binders in the supervisor's office, PDFs on someone's laptop. When a new hire needs an answer at 3 AM on a Sunday, nobody's looking for it in a manual.

Rivyt is built to fix that. Workers ask questions in plain English. Rivyt reads their plant's own documents and returns cited answers. Every answer points back to the exact page, section, or timestamp so the operator can verify for themselves.

Why manufacturing

A lot of AI products are being built for knowledge workers. Rivyt is built for the people running the plant: operators, technicians, maintenance crews, quality inspectors. Their work is physical, time-sensitive, and consequential. A good answer at the right moment saves a shift. A wrong answer costs money, time, or safety.

Which is why Rivyt refuses to hallucinate. If the answer isn't in your documents, Rivyt says so. Cited answers or nothing.

Worker augmentation, not replacement

Rivyt exists to make skilled operators more effective, not to eliminate them. The value is in capturing and transferring hard-won expertise to the next shift, the new hire, the tech who just rotated onto an unfamiliar machine. Not in replacing the experienced worker, in making sure their knowledge outlasts their tenure.
